Field Description
• disabled
Changed Date and time of the last conguration change
Requested status Requested status of the network interface:
• enabled — Congured and serving I/O
• disabled — Not serving I/O
Speed Speed of the network interface
MTU size Maximum transmission unit (MTU) size. Typically, this value is 9000 for iSCSI network
interfaces.
Packet errors Number of packet errors identied on the network interface
Role Current role of the interface:
• none — Displays when an interface is not enabled
• mixed trac — Displays when an interface is enabled and management network is not
enabled
• iSCSI only — Displays when the interface is not restricted to management access
• management only — Displays when the management network is enabled, and the
interface is restricted to management access
Network conguration Provides the following interface data:
• IP address
• Subnet mask
• Default gateway
• MAC address
Switch information Provides the following information about the interface-to-switch connection for the
selected interface:
• LLDP state (see data center bridging) — State of link layer discovery protocol
• System name — Switch name, which is dened by the user at the time of conguring
the switch
• System description — User-supplied description for the switch
• Chassis ID — Unique identier for the switch hardware
• MAC address for the switch
• Port ID — Network switch port that maps to the selected Ethernet interface
• Port description — User-supplied description of this port on the switch
