Modify Replica Set Wizard

Field Description

Storage pool assignment Select a storage pool in the primary group for the failback replica set. If you later promote

the failback replica set to a volume, the volume belongs to the new pool.

Column Description Shortcut

Group name Name of the partner group. Group names are case sensitive. The group name can

contain a maximum of 54 ASCII characters plus a hyphen. The rst character must

be a letter or a number.

Alt+M

Group IP address Displays the current IP address for the group. Modify the group's IP address if

needed.

Alt+I

Description (Optional) Enter a description of this partner, such as location, up to 63 ASCII

characters.

Alt+D

Name (Optional) Enter or modify the name of the administrator. Alt+A

Email address (Optional) Enter or modify the email address of the administrator. Alt+E

Phone (Optional) Enter or modify the phone number of the administrator. Alt+P

Mobile (Optional) Enter or modify the cell phone number of the administrator. Alt+L

NOTE: Replication partner changes you make on the secondary group are not updated on the primary group until the

next replication.

Modify Replication Partner IP Address Dialog Box

The Modify Replication Partner IP Address dialog box enables you to change the IP address congured for the group on which the

replication partner resides.

test the replication partnership after you change the IP address and click OK.
