Drive Status Description
Disk is oine Indicates that the disk drive does not fall into the other status categories.
No disk installed No disk drive is installed in the slot.
NOTE: When you remove a drive from an array, Dell recommends that you not reinsert it immediately. Instead, wait for
the system to recognize that the drive is missing before reinserting it.

EIP Card or OPS Panel
Depending on your array model, the Enclosure tab contains information about either the EIP (enclosure interface processor) card,
the OPS (operations) panel, or neither.

Field Description
Status Status of the EIP card or OPS panel:
good — Component is working correctly. No action is required.
not present — Component is missing from the array. Note that the EIP card or the
OPS panel is not necessary for arrays to operate and is not present in some models.

failed — Component has failed. Contact your support provider for help.
Firmware revision Displays the rmware revision for the component. This rmware is not the same as the PS
Series rmware version running on the array as a whole, and rarely changes.
