Field Description Shortcut
iSNS servers, in order of
preference
IP address (and optional port) for each iSNS server. The iSNS (Internet Storage
Name Service) server automatically discovers and maintains an up-to-date list of
group targets. The iSNS server then provides the target names to initiators
congured to use the server.

Up Moves the selected iSNS server IP address up in order of importance None

When selected, prevents hosts from discovering iSCSI targets unless they have the
correct CHAP credentials

iSCSI target name prex
(Read-only)
String that is included in the iSCSI target name. The iSCSI target is generated for
each volume. You can copy the string by clicking the icon to the right of the eld.
The string cannot be modied.

default iSCSI target alias
Congures the volume name as an alias for each iSCSI target. An alias helps
administrators identify a volume.

User name Enter the name of an account with permission to join the domain. Signing in here
enables you to choose whether or not to automatically sign in.
