NAS Conguration Window
The NAS Conguration window, which appears after you run the Congure NAS Cluster wizard, shows the progress of the
NAS cluster conguration. The rest of the group remains operational while the NAS cluster is being congured. When the
conguration succeeds, the progress window displays a success message.
During the NAS cluster conguration, you might see the following message: Status of 0 is failed. Status of 1 is
failed. You can disregard this message.
When the conguration is complete, the progress window provides links for performing the following NAS cluster conguration
tasks:
• Setting the SMB administrator password, which clients use to access the SMB shares that you create
• Conguring Active Directory for external authentication for Windows clients
• Displaying information about the NAS cluster conguration
• Creating NAS containers, where SMB shares and NFS exports reside
