Congure management
network
Opens a window for conguring a management network. Having a management
network isolates group management trac from iSCSI trac. When member
network interfaces are assigned to this network, they are used only for group
management and not for iSCSI access.

DCB VLAN settings (Data center bridging [DCB] is a set of enhancements to Ethernet local area networks intended to improve
performance and reliability by eliminating packet loss due to overow).
VLAN ID Species the VLAN ID for the group. This value must be the same as the VLAN ID
congured in the switch for use by the iSCSI SAN.

New Access Policy Dialog Box
Use this dialog box to dene the properties of a new access policy and specify the policy's extended access points.

Field Description Shortcut
Name Enter a descriptive name for the new access policy. The policy name can contain up
to 31 ASCII characters, including letters, numbers, hyphens, and periods. Letters are
not case-sensitive.

Description (Optional) Enter a description for this access policy group, up to 127 ASCII
characters.
Alt+D
Access points Displays a list of the individual extended access points that dene which resources
are represented by the access policy. This list is empty until you create your rst
extended access point. Each extended access point is capable of representing up to
16 unique IP addresses, a CHAP account, and an iSCSI initiator name.

New Creates a new extended access point for the current access policy. New access
points are automatically assigned to the policy.

Modify Changes the properties of the extended access point, including the CHAP account
name, the iSCSI initiator name, and the IP addresses.

Delete Deletes the currently selected extended access point from the Access Points list. None
