Configure Storage for VM Rapid Provisioning
SMP supports VM Rapid Provisioning through the use of thin clones of template volumes. Before performing rapid provisioning
operations:
1. Expand the Storage node and select Arrays.
2. Right-click the PS Series group and select Properties.
3. In the Settings tab, make sure that the provisioning method is set to Use snapshots for the group intended for rapid
provisioning. This setting enables use of thin clones for these tasks if the volume is a template volume. (See the following
figure.)
