Domain Domain congured for the NAS cluster None
Congure Active
Directory
Congures the NAS cluster to use an Active Directory conguration to authenticate
Windows clients. This button appears only if Active Directory is not congured.
The Active Directory server and the PS Series group must use a common source of
time.
Alt+A
Congure preferred
domain controllers
(optional)
Enable to congure (or re-congure) a preferred domain controllers list. This button
is enabled only after successfully joining to the active directory domain.
Alt+D
Leave Prompts you to disable Active Directory for the NAS cluster. This button appears
only if Active Directory is congured. To modify the Active Directory settings, click
leave and then recongure Active Directory.
Alt+L
Trusted Domains Table displays trusted domain name, serving domain controller name and IP, trusted
type, and online status.

Displays the Active Directory users and groups Alt+A

Active Directory servers
Add Adds the IP address of an AD server. After clicking the link, enter the address in the
Add List Item dialog box.

Modify Changes the IP address of a server. Select the server, then click the link.
Delete Deletes the IP address of a server. Select the server, then click the link.
Up Moves a server up one position in the list. Select a server, then click the link.
Down Moves a server down one position in the list. Select a server, then click the link.
AD server settings
Secure protocol Secure protocol for the AD server to use. The choices are none (default) or TLS. Alt+S
Port Port number, if dierent from the default (389). Alt+O
