Field Description Shortcut
To restore the default port, click Use default port (Alt+D).
Base DN Base domain name (DN), if dierent from the default. The name can be up to 511
ASCII characters.
To restore the default base DN, click Get default (Alt+G), which retrieves the
default domain name from the AD server.
Alt+B
User Search Path Path from which all the LDAP searches for object type User are to be performed.
Group Search Path Path from which all the LDAP searches for object type Group are to be performed.
Anonymous Bypasses the user name and password, and enables anonymous logins Alt+A
User User-specied name congured on the AD server, up to 63 ASCII characters Alt+U
Password User-specied password for the user account, up to 63 ASCII characters Alt+P
Test AD settings Makes sure that your Active Directory settings are valid before closing the dialog
box

Field Description
Account Name of the administration account that is logged in to the group
Session type Type of session:
Secure GUI sessions — Secure session when logged in through the GUI
Unsecure GUI session — Unsecure session when logged in through the GUI
Telnet session — Logged in through the CLI
Login time Date and time the session began
Client IP IP address of the system through which the session is connected
Local IP Group IP address through which the session is connected
Add Access Policies Dialog Box
Use this dialog box to assign existing access policies to the current group policy. You can also create new access policies here and
subsequently assign them to the group.

Field Description
Access policies Contains a list of the access policies that are available to be added to the group. Access
policies that are already part of the current group do not appear here. This list is initially
empty until you create your rst access policy. To add a policy to the group, check the
checkbox next to its name.
New Create a new access policy, consisting of a name, description, and up to 16 access points.
After you create a new access policy, it appears in the Access Policies list until you
manually add it to the group.
