Field Description
Customize Click to open the Customize lter dialog box. From there, you can select and/or set the
tags and values to be used as lters for the Volumes panel.
(Filter volumes) Displays a list of tags and tag values and the number of volumes that use them. Select the
ones that you want to include in the volume display.

Field Description Shortcut
Update rmware Starts the process of updating the rmware. You must provide the password for an
account with administrator privileges to continue the upgrade process. Dell
recommends that you install identical rmware revisions on all group members.
Alt+U
Disallow downgrades Prevents downgrading of the rmware. If this option is disabled, either your system
administrator has disabled downgrades or the array was shipped with factory-
installed rmware that does not allow downgrades.

Find Objects Panel
Searching for an object returns matches for the names or descriptions of volumes, volume collections, storage pools, replication
partners, and members in the group.
Type a string (such as a volume name or tag value) in the empty eld and Press Enter to begin the search. The string is not case
sensitive
NOTE: By default, the Find Objects dialog box remains open while you are searching for objects. However, you can
change this default so that the dialog box closes when you click the link for an object. To change the default, click the
blue pin icon next to the question mark.
