Send reports to other
email addresses
Emails a PS Series diagnostic report to additional email addresses. Selecting this
option enables two elds where you can enter email addresses to which the
diagnostic report will be sent.

Congure SMTP button Displays the Congure Email dialog box, where you can add, modify, and delete
SMTP servers to use for email.
You must dene an SMTP server to email diagnostic reports.

Congure Email Dialog Box
The Congure Email dialog box is displayed from the Report Destination screen.

SMTP Servers IP addresses of up to three SMTP servers that have been dened. Servers are listed
in the order that they should be used for email

Add Displays the Add SMTP Server dialog box, where you can specify an IP address and
associated port for an SMTP server

Modify Displays the Modify SMTP server dialog box, where you can change the IP address
and associated port dened for the selected SMTP server

Delete Deletes the selected SMTP server None
Up Shifts the selected SMTP server IP address up one position in the list of
SMTP servers

Down Shifts the selected SMTP server IP address down one position in the list of SMTP
servers

Sender email address Email address from which the PS Series diagnostic report will be sent. This address
appears in the From eld in the notication email. You can use your own email
address or the group name at your company’s email address (for example,
[e-mail]).

Add SMTP Server Dialog Box
The Add SMTP Server dialog box is displayed from the Congure Email dialog box. In the Add SMTP Server dialog box, you can
specify the IP address to use to access the diagnostic report if it will not be accessed by email. The IP address and port information
is required for Dell customer support to be able to access the NAS cluster diagnostics report.

Field Description Shortcut
IP address IP address to be used for the SMTP server. The format is A.B.C.D, where A, B, C,
and D are 1- to 3-digit numbers.
Alt+A
Port Port to associate with the specied IP address. This port is used only if the default
port is not used.
