Field Description

Group space by use Capacity in the group reserved for volumes, snapshots, and replication, as well as

delegated and free space in the pool

Group space by storage pool Total capacity of each pool in the group

Group free space by storage pool Free space in each pool in the group

Group space by RAID level Group space congured with each RAID level (RAID 10, RAID 5, RAID 50, RAID 6, and RAID

6 Accelerated)

Field Description

Total borrowed space Total amount of borrowed pool space, including the amount of space that has already been

borrowed and the amount of space that can be recovered from deleted volumes in the

recovery bin. Click the link to display the Borrowed Space pane.

Oversubscribed group space Volume size exceeds the available space on any group members running the preferred

RAID level. The requested RAID preference has not been applied to the volume.

NOTE: Dell recommends that free pool space not fall below one of the following levels, whichever is smaller:

• 5 percent of the total pool space

• 100GB multiplied by the number of pool members

Group Disk Space Panel

The Group Disk Space panel shows how the group is using space. You can display details about the space by selecting from the

options in the list.

NOTE: The group free space is calculated using a rounding algorithm. To see the actual free space in megabytes, use the

CLI.

Field Description

Group space by use Displays space currently allocated for volumes, snapshots, local replication reserve, and

delegated space, and displays the percentage of free group space

Group space by storage pool Displays the percentage of group space in each storage pool and the capacity of each pool

Delegated space details Displays the space in the group that has been delegated by replication partners: used

delegated space, free delegated space, and failback replica space

Group space by RAID level Displays group space congured with each RAID level

information.
