Field Description
Time between data points – Sets the number of seconds (1 through 60; the default is
1) between each moment that data is collected for the statistic that you selected. You
can also select one of the predened values from the list.
Number of data points to save – Sets the number of data points that will be collected
(1 through 1000; the default is 100). You can also select one of the predened values
from the list.
Total data capacity – Displays the total amount of time that statistics can be saved
based on the combination of time between data points and number of data points to
save
Start polling data Starts gathering data from the statistic(s) that you selected and represents it on the type
of graph
Stop polling data Stops gathering data from the statistic(s) that you selected
First reading Indicates the rst point of information gathered for the statistic(s) that you selected
Previous reading Indicates the previous point of information gathered for the statistic(s) that you selected
Next reading Indicates the following point of information gathered for the statistic(s) that you selected
Last reading Indicates the last point of information gathered for the statistic that you selected
Chart view Displays the information in a line graph view. This view is useful if you need to look at
multiple points of data over time. Each dierent colored line represents a dierent piece of
data.
Histogram view Bar graph showing the dierent representations of data at each point in time that it
receives the data. Each bar represents a dierent piece of data. This view is useful for
reading the most current data being gathered.
Data table view Lists in table format the data for the statistic(s) that you selected
Linear scale Selecting this view is benecial if data points are at minimal value dierences
Logarithmic scale Selecting this view is benecial if data points are at extreme value dierences
Scale to t Zooms in on the graph
Select a new set of statistics Replaces the statistics that you are currently tracking with a new set of statistics to track
Remove this set of statistics from the
performance monitor view
Clears the set of statistics from the Performance Monitor

Total group members Number of members within the group (does not include NAS appliances)
Online members Number of online members within the group
Member Name of the member
Storage pool Storage pool to which the member belongs
Capacity Total capacity of the member
Free space Free space on the member
