Initiator authentication
Enable RADIUS
authentication for iSCSI
initiators
Congures the group to use an external RADIUS authentication server to centralize
the management of administration accounts. The RADIUS server authenticates
administration accounts and also determines the account privileges.

Consults locally dened CHAP accounts before verifying external CHAP accounts
on a RADIUS server.

RADIUS settings Opens the RADIUS Settings dialog box, where you can set RADIUS authentication
and accounting servers.

Target authentication
User name (Read-only) User name for iSCSI target authentication. You can copy the string by clicking the
icon to the right of the eld.

Password (Read-only) Password for iSCSI target authentication. You can copy the string by clicking the
icon to the right of the eld.

Modify Opens the Modify Target CHAP Account dialog box, where you can change the
target CHAP user name and password.

Field Description
Total iSCSI connections Displays the total number of iSCSI connections to the group. When iSCSI connections are
for internal use–such as replication, connections between members, or between SyncRep
volumes–they are not displayed in the GUI but as “# internal connections not shown.
Initiator address IP address of the connecting initiator
Target Names of the volumes that have active connections
Connection time Duration of the connection
Interface Ethernet and IP address of the connected interface
Read Amount of data read from the group during the connection’s duration
Written Amount of data written to the group during the connection’s duration
