Folder Select which folder to move the volume to. Alt+F

NOTE: You can move volumes into, out of, or between folders only if your account has grpadmin privileges.

Move Recovery Volume Dialog Box

If your group has more than one storage pool, you can move a recovery volume from one pool to another.

Field Description

Storage pool Lists the pools that are available to transfer the volume to. Select a dierent pool to move

the volume.

The following restrictions apply:

• The pool to which you are moving the volume must have delegated space on it.

•

Thin clones inherit the pool setting of the template volume. You cannot move a thin

clone separately from its template volume.

• The pool to which you want to move a volume must have free space equal to the

volume reserve and any snapshot reserve and local replication reserve for the volume.

• During the procedure, the group updates the Pool Space table to show the new

amounts of free and used space in each pool. If a pool does not have enough space to

accommodate the pool change, the table cell showing free pool space displays a

negative value.

Capacity Total space for the pool

Free Space within the pool that is available for use

Drives Lists the drives being used for each pool

Pool encryption Shows if the pool is encrypted, not encrypted, or partially encrypted

Move Replica Set Dialog Box

If your group has more than one storage pool with delegated space, you can move one or more replica sets and recovery volumes for

a partner from one storage pool to other storage pools.

Field Description

General Displays the requested reserve, the current storage pool, and the replication partner for the

group

Destination delegated space by

Select the destination pool to move the replica set into. (The pool must already have

delegated space allocated to that partner.) An error appears if the group is in mixed-group

mode or does not have “disallow downgrades” set.
