reserve functionality is available.
• Was Enabled — Data reduction was previously enabled, but is not currently enabled on
the container. The snapshot reserve functionality remains disabled on the container.

Snapshot reserve Amount of space reserved for snapshots. If data reduction has been enabled on this
container, snapshot reserve is permanently removed from this NAS container, and this
value is not applicable.
Used by Snapshots Amount of NAS container space used by snapshots
Free snapshot reserve Amount of snapshot reserve not used by snapshots. If data reduction has been enabled on
this container, snapshot reserve is permanently removed from this NAS container, and this
value is not applicable.

Container Total capacity of the container
Total capacity Total capacity of the container
Data reduction Status of data reduction on the container. Possible values are:
• Enabled—Data reduction is currently enabled on the container. Select the Enable data
reduction checkbox to activate the Modify policy button. Enabling data reduction
permanently removes the snapshot reserve functionality from the NAS container.
• Disabled — Data reduction has never been enabled on the container.
• Was Enabled — Data reduction was previously enabled, but is not currently enabled on
the container. Select the Enable data reduction checkbox to activate the Modify
policy button. Enabling data reduction permanently removes the snapshot reserve
functionality from the NAS container.
Data reduction space savings Amount of space saved through data reduction
Compression Whether or not compression is congured for this container. Possible values are:
• True — Compression is enabled on the container. Use compression with text les to
increase storage space eciency. Compression does not increase storage space
eciency with binary les, such as audio and video les.
• False — Compression is not enabled on the container.
Access time lter Minimum time since the last access time before les on this container qualify for data
reduction.
