Target Quota target name, which can be:
defgroup — Default group quota
defuser — Default user quota
User name — Name of a user
Group name — Name of a group
The format of a user name or group name is the optional domain name and plus sign
(taking the place of a slash or backslash) with the group or user name (for example, Lab
+Local Users).
Type
Quota type, which can be:
Default group—Quota for groups with no other dened quota.
Default user—Quota for users with no other dened quota.
Single user—Quota for a specic user. The user quota denes the total storage space
assigned to a user. This quota includes any storage resources assigned to a user
through any per-user group quota that applies to the user. A user quota overrides any
group quota that applies to a user.
Each user in the group—Quota for each user in the group. The quota for each user in a
group applies to each user for whom the group is the primary group. If the group is not
a user’s primary group, this quota does not apply to that user. This quota cannot
exceed the quota assigned to any individual user in the group, and the total of the
quotas assigned to each user in the group cannot exceed the total storage space
dened for the group.
Group total—Quota for all the users in a group, collectively. The group quota is
available to all users in the group. This quota cannot exceed the total space assigned to
individual members of that group. A group quota only aects a user in the group when
that is the user’s primary group.
Quota size
Size of the quota dened for the quota target.
Default user and group quotas are set to a size of 0 and a warning limit of 0, which disable
these default quotas. If you want to use the default quotas to set a standard quota size for
users and groups, you must modify the quota size and warning limit for these quota
targets.
Warning limit
Quota warning limit threshold, as a percentage of quota size. The default value is 0%.
Usage
Amount of quota space used by the quota target.
