Field Description
File Security Style Type of security style applied to the NAS cluster:
NTFS — All access permissions are controlled by the Windows administrator by using
access control lists or share level permissions.
UNIX — Windows clients cannot change any le or directory permissions. Read and
write access is controlled by the UNIX permissions for Windows les and directories,
which you set in Group Manager.
Mixed — A combination of NTFS and UNIX security styles, a Windows user can
override UNIX user settings and a UNIX user can override Windows user settings.
Default le permissions
Owner Default UNIX le permission for the owner
Group Default UNIX le permissions for the group
Others Default UNIX le permissions for all other users
Default directory permissions
Owner Default UNIX directory permissions for the owner
Group Default UNIX directory permissions for the group
Others Default UNIX directory permissions for all other users
NFS Exports Panel

Field Description
NFS exports Total number of NFS exports dened for the container
NFS export NFS export name
Directory Directory path for the export
Access Method IP address method or Netgroup method for accessing NFS exports
Client IP Client access setting for the export. Species whether to allow access to all clients or to a
specic IP address or subnet.
Netgroup Name(s) of the Netgroup(s) that can access the export
Permission Access permission for the export: read-write or read-only
Trusted users Trusted users for the share: all users, all except root, or nobody (none)
