Configure Network Configuration page - K2 client
This page congures both control and media (iSCSI) network connections.
The K2 client actually has four Gigabit Ethernet ports, but two ports are congured as a teamed pair
(the control team), while the other two ports (the media connections) are individual. The teamed
pair shares an IP address and appears on this page as a single port.
1. Verify that the top port is congured correctly.
The top port is the port over which the K2Cong application is communicating. If correctly
congured, it is already assigned the control network IP address, as displayed on this page.
2. Select Media Connection #1 and then click Modify.
A network conguration dialog box opens.
3. Verify or congure Media Connection #1 as follows:
If a basic (non-redundant) K2 SAN, verify or enter the media network IP address. Also enter
the subnet mask.
If a redundant K2 SAN, verify or enter an IP address for the “A” media (iSCSI) network.
Also enter the subnet mask.
4. Do one of the following:
If a basic (non-redundant) K2 SAN, skip to the last step in this procedure. Do not congure
Media Connection #2.
If a redundant K2 SAN, proceed with the next step and congure Media Connection #2.
5. Select Media Connection #2 and then click Modify.
A network conguration dialog box opens.
