This operation creates a K2 SAN in
K2Cong with SiteCong dened
devices. Uses the site name to check
if the K2 SAN already exists. The
operation will not import if the K2
SAN exists with the same name. The
operation can import all sites which
are K2 SANs from a single system
description le in a single import step.
Use this operation for initial install/commission
(greeneld) sites. First dene the site topology
using SiteCong and complete network
conguration and software deployment. Then
import the SiteCong system description into
K2Cong and complete the K2 SAN
conguration.
Import SiteCong system
description le into
K2Cong
This operation creates a SiteCong site
with K2Cong dened devices. The
operation removes all other sites.
Use this operation when you're running
SiteCong for the rst time at a site with
existing K2 SANs that have already been
congured with K2Cong. This allows you to
seed the SiteCong system description with
device information that is already in the
K2Cong XML le. After you have done this
operation for the rst time, do not do it again.
Import K2Cong XML
into SiteCong
This operation creates a SiteCong site
with K2Cong dened devices but
leaves existing sites as is.
Use this operation when you've already dened
some sites using SiteCong and you later want
to bring in another K2Cong dened K2 SAN
that doesn't exist in SiteCong. Do not merge
a K2Cong XML that you've already merged.
If you do so, it is likely that SiteCong will
create a new site with the same devices.
