This operation creates a K2 SAN in
K2Cong with SiteCong dened
devices. Uses the site name to check
if the K2 SAN already exists. The
operation will not import if the K2
SAN exists with the same name. The
operation can import all sites which
are K2 SANs from a single system
description le in a single import step.
Use this operation for initial install/commission
(greeneld) sites. First dene the site topology
using SiteCong and complete network
conguration and software deployment. Then
import the SiteCong system description into
K2Cong and complete the K2 SAN
conguration.
Import SiteCong system
description le into
K2Cong
This operation creates a SiteCong site
with K2Cong dened devices. The
operation removes all other sites.
Use this operation when you're running
SiteCong for the rst time at a site with
existing K2 SANs that have already been
congured with K2Cong. This allows you to
seed the SiteCong system description with
device information that is already in the
K2Cong XML le. After you have done this
operation for the rst time, do not do it again.
Import K2Cong XML
into SiteCong
This operation creates a SiteCong site
with K2Cong dened devices but
leaves existing sites as is.
Use this operation when you've already dened
some sites using SiteCong and you later want
to bring in another K2Cong dened K2 SAN
that doesn't exist in SiteCong. Do not merge
a K2Cong XML that you've already merged.
If you do so, it is likely that SiteCong will
create a new site with the same devices.
