You can enter an EXEC mode command from any CONFIGURATION mode (CONFIGURATION, INTERFACE, SPANNING TREE, and
so on.) without having to return to EXEC mode by preceding the EXEC mode command with the do command.

Undoing Commands
When you enter a command, the command line is added to the running conguration le (running-cong).
To disable a command and remove it from the running-cong, enter the no command, then the original command. For example, to
delete an IP address congured on an interface, use the
no ip address ip-address command.
NOTE: Use the help or ? command as described in Obtaining Help.
The rst bold line shows the assigned IP address, the second bold line shows the no form of the IP address command, and the
last bold line shows the IP address removed.
