buckets: (Optional) species the maximum number of buckets desired for the RMON collection history group of statistics.
bucket-number: (Optional) a value associated with the number of buckets specied for the RMON collection history
group of statistics. The value is limited to from 1 to 1000. The default is
50 (as dened in RFC-2819).
interval: (Optional) species the number of seconds in each polling cycle.
seconds: (Optional) the number of seconds in each polling cycle. The value is ranged from 5 to 3,600 (Seconds). The
default is 1,800 (as dened in RFC-2819).
Example of the rmon collection history Command
To remove a specied RMON history group of statistics collection, use the no form of this command.
The following command example enables an RMON MIB collection history group of statistics with an ID number of 20 and an owner
of john, both the sampling interval and the number of buckets use their respective defaults.
Dell(conf-if-mgmt)#rmon collection history controlEntry 20 owner john
Enabling an RMON MIB Collection History Group
The rmon collection history command enables an RMON MIB collection history group of statistics.
In the following example, the command enables an RMON MIB collection history group of statistics with an ID number of 20 and an
owner of “john, both the sampling interval and the number of buckets use their respective defaults.
