Copying Conguration Files via SNMP
To copy the running-cong to the startup-cong from the UNIX machine, use the following command.
• Copy the running-cong to the startup-cong from the UNIX machine.
snmpset -v 2c -c public —m ./f10–copy-config.mif force10system-ip-address
copySrcFileType.index i 2 copyDestFileType.index i 3
Example of Copying Conguration Files (Using MIB Object Names)
Example of Copying Conguration Files (Using OIDs)
The following examples show the command syntax using MIB object names and the same command using the object OIDs. In both
cases, a unique index number follows the object.
> snmpset -v 2c -r 0 -t 60 -c public -m ./f10-copy-config.mib 10.10.10.10 copySrcFileType.

Copying the Startup-Cong Files to the Running-Cong
To copy the startup-cong to the running-cong from a UNIX machine, use the following command.
• Copy the startup-cong to the running-cong from a UNIX machine.
snmpset -c private -v 2c force10system-ip-address copySrcFileType.index i 3
copyDestFileType.index i 2
