Usage
Information
The Management port is enabled by default (no shutdown). If necessary, use the
ip address command to assign an IP address to the Management port. If two
RPMs are installed in your system, use the show redundancy command to display
which RPM is the Primary RPM.
On the Z9000, you can configure two global IPv6 addresses. To view the
addresses, use the show interface managementethernet command. If you try
to configure a third IPv6 address, a message displays. If auto-configuration is
enabled, all IPv6 addresses on that management interface are auto-configured.
The first IPv6 address that is configured on the management interface will be the
primary address. If deleted, it must be re-added; the secondary address is not
promoted.
