PIM-Sparse Mode (PIM-SM)
The protocol-independent multicast (PIM) commands are supported by the Dell Networking operating software (FTOS)
on the Z-Series platform.
IPv4 PIM-Sparse Mode Commands
The following describes the IPv4 PIM-sparse mode (PIM-SM) commands.
clear ip pim rp-mapping
The bootstrap router (BSR) feature uses this command to remove all or particular rendezvous point (RP) advertisement.

clear ip pim rp-mapping rp-address
Parameters
rp-address
(OPTIONAL) Enter the RP address in dotted decimal format (A.B.C.D).
