Usage
Information
When a neighbor router is identified, unicast data exchanges occur. Multiple neighbor routers
are possible.
To ensure that only specific interfaces are receiving and sending data, use the passive-
interface
command with the neighbor command.

network
Enable RIP for a specified network. To enable RIP on all networks connected to the switch, use this command.

Syntax
network ip-address
To disable RIP for a network, use the no network ip-address command.
Parameters
ip-address
Specify an IP network address in dotted decimal format. You cannot
specify a subnet.
Defaults No RIP network is configured.
