Configure the maximum number of attempts that should be used to authenticate a user.

ip ssh authentication-retries 1-10
Parameters
1-10
Enter the number of maximum retries to authenticate a user. The
range is from 1 to 10. The default is 3.

Usage
Information
This command specifies the maximum number of attempts to authenticate a user on an SSH
connection with the remote host for password authentication. SSH disconnects when the
number of password failures exceeds authentication-retries.
ip ssh connection-rate-limit
Configure the maximum number of incoming SSH connections per minute.

Enter the number of maximum numbers of incoming SSH connections
allowed per minute. The range is from 1 to 10 per minute. The default
is
10 per minute.
