Commands
forward-delay — changes the wait time before STP transitions to the Forwarding state.
max-age — changes the wait time before STP refreshes protocol configuration information.

To maintain configuration information before refreshing that information, set the time interval for the spanning tree
bridge.
Z-Series
Syntax
max-age seconds
To return to the default values, use the no max-age command.
Parameters
seconds Enter a number of seconds the FTOS waits before refreshing
configuration information. The range is from 6 to 40. The default is 20
seconds.
