Usage
Information
After you enable FTP server functions with the ftp-server enable command,
Dell Networking recommends specifying a top-level directory path. Without a top-
level directory path specified, the Dell Networking OS directs users to the flash
directory when logging in to the FTP server.

connections to the E-Series.

Create a user name and associated password for incoming FTP server sessions.
Z9000
Syntax
ftp-server username username password [encryption-type]
password
To delete a user name and its password, use the no ftp-server username
username
command.
Parameters
username Enter a text string up to 40 characters long as the user name.
password
password
Enter the keyword password then a string up to 40
characters long as the password. Without specifying an
encryption type, the password is unencrypted.
