boot system
Tell the system where to access the Dell Networking OS image used to boot the system.
Z9000
Syntax
boot system {gateway ip address| stack-unit [{0-11 | 0-7]| all]
[default | primary {system {A: | B:} | tftp: | | secondary]}
To return to the default boot sequence, use the no boot system command.
Parameters
gateway Enter the IP address of the default next-hop gateway for the
management subnet.
ip-address Enter an IP address in dotted decimal format.
stack-unit Enter the stack-unit number for the master switch.
0-11, 0-7, all Enter the stack-unit number. The Z9000 range is from 0 to
7.
default Enter the keyword default to use the primary Dell
Networking OS image.
primary Enter the keyword primary to use the primary Dell
Networking OS image.
secondary Enter the keyword secondary to use the primary Dell
Networking OS image.
tftp: Enter the keyword TFTP: to retrieve the image from a TFTP
server. tftp://hostip/filepath.
A: | B: Enter A: or B: to boot one of the system partitions.
Defaults Not configured.
