NOTE: For maximum cooling of the processor, do not touch the heat transfer areas on the heat sink. The oils in your skin
can reduce the heat transfer capability of the thermal grease.
The following image(s) indicate the location of the heat sink and provide a visual representation of the removal procedure.
Steps
1. Place the computer on its side with the left side facing up.
2. Loosen the three captive screws in the sequential order (1->3->2) that secure the heat sink to the computer.
3. Lift the heat sink from the system board.
