Figure 15 and Figure 16 present the same performance data but plotted relative to the one-core result.
This makes it easy to see the scaling of the solution. That is, the performance improvement as more cores
are used for the analysis. Problem scalability depends on many factors such as the number of degrees of
freedom in the problem and on the particular solution type and solver being used. For the DMP solver with
16 cores, scaling for all of the benchmark problems ranges from 6.4–12.4. For the SMP solver with 16
cores, scaling ranges from 2.9–4.5 across all of the benchmark problems.
