Das Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller (iDRAC)-Servicemodul ist eine leichte, optionale Softwareanwendung, die auf Dell PowerEdge-Servern ab der 12. Generation oder später installiert werden kann.

Installieren des iDRACServicemoduls auf einem unterstützten LinuxBetriebssystem 4 Das komplette iDRAC-Servicemodul ist in einem einzigen Red Hat Package Manager (rpm) zusammengefasst. Mithilfe dieses Pakets, zu dem auch ein Shell-Skript gehört, können Sie die verfügbaren Funktionen installieren, deinstallieren oder aktivieren und deaktivieren. Da das Installationsprogramm auf Linux eine einzige rpm-Installation beinhaltet, gibt es keine granulare Installationsunterstützung.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass die grundlegenden Funktionsvoraussetzungen erfüllt sind, wie z. B.: • Die Funktion BS-zu-iDRAC-Passthrough für den USBNIC-Modus ist standardmäßig aktiviert. Die .zipDatei folgt der Namenskonvention ISM-Dell-Web-2.0.0-.VIBi.zip, wobei die unterstütze ESXi-Version ist.
