3. 编辑 /boot/grub/grub.conf 或 /boot/grub/menu.list 文件，以便为 SOL 添加引导选项：
a. 注出类似 Unix 的各个操作系统中的图形显示行：
¡ RHEL 5 中的 splashimage=(had0,0)/grub/splash.xpm.gz
¡ SLES 10 中的 gfxmenu (hda0,5)/boot/message
b. 在第一 title= ... 行前面添加以下一行：
# Redirect OS boot via SOL
c. 将以下项附加到第一 title= ... 行：
SOL redirection
d. 将以下文本附加到第一个 title= ... 的 kernel/... 行：
console=tty1 console=ttyS0,115200

注： Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 中的 /boot/grub/grub.conf 是指向 /boot/grub/menu.list 的符号链接。可以更改两者中任一项中的设置。
