Removing the Memory Module



1. Follow the instructions in "Before Working Inside Your Computer."

2. Loosen the captive screw (labeled "M") in the memory module cover, and lift the cover away from the computer.



3. Useyourfingertipstocarefullyspreadapartthesecuringclipsoneachendofthememorymoduleconnectoruntilthemodulepopsup.

4. Remove the module from the connector.



CAUTION: To prevent static damage to components inside your computer, discharge static electricity from your body before you touch any of

your computer's electronic components. You can do so by touching an unpainted metal surface.
