2 Open the latches and disconnect the touch-pad cable from the touch

pad and the keyboard daughter-board.

3 latch 4 touch-pad cable

5 keyboard daughter-board 6 palm-rest assembly

3 Peel off the pieces of tape that secure the touch-pad to the palm-rest

assembly.

4 Remove the screws that secure the touch-pad bracket to the palm-rest

assembly.
