Replacing the speakers

NOTE: The rubber grommets may get pushed out while replacing the speaker. Ensure that the rubber grommets are in

their position after placing the speaker on the palm-rest assembly.

1. Using the alignment posts, align and place the speakers on the palm-rest assembly.

2. Replace the rubber grommets if they are pushed up while replacing the speaker.

3. Route the speaker cable through the routing guides on the palm-rest assembly.

4. Adhere the pieces of tape that secure the speaker cable to the palm-rest assembly.

5. Connect the speaker cable to the system board.

Post-requisites

1. Replace the battery.

2. Replace the base cover.
