Prerequisites

1. Remove the base cover.

2. Remove the battery.

Procedure

1. Peel the tape that secures the speaker cable to the palm-rest assembly.

2. Remove the speaker cable from the routing guides on the palm-rest assembly.

3. Lift the speaker cable off the status-light board.

4. Open the latch and disconnect the status-light board-cable from the keyboard daughter-board.

5. Lift the status-light board off the palm-rest assembly.
