Removing the power-adapter port

Prerequisites

1. Remove the base cover.

2. Remove the battery.

3. Remove the wireless card.

4. Remove the display assembly.

Procedure

1. Disconnect the power-adapter port-cable from the system board.

2. Remove the screw (M2x3.5) that secures the power-adapter port to the palm-rest assembly.

3. Lift the power-adapter port off the palm-rest assembly.
