Removing the speakers

Prerequisites

1 Remove the battery.

2 Remove the optical drive.

3 Remove the keyboard.

4 Remove the base cover.

5 Remove the hard drive.

Procedure

1 Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board.

2 Peel the tapes that secure the speaker to the palm-rest assembly.
