Removing the camera

Prerequisites

1 Remove the battery.

2 Remove the optical drive.

3 Remove the keyboard.

4 Remove the base cover.

5 Remove the wireless card.

6 Remove the display assembly.

7 Remove the display bezel.

8 Remove the display panel.

Procedure

1 Peel o the foil from the camera module.

2 Using a plastic scribe, pry the camera module, and then lift the camera module

at an angle.
