42 Power Button Board
Replacing the Power Button Board
1 Follow the instructions in "Before You Begin" on page 9.
2 Align the slots on the power button board with the alignment posts on the
palm-rest assembly and replace the screw.
3 Route the power-button board cable through the slot on the palm-rest
assembly.
4 Turn the palm-rest assembly over.
5 Replace the palm-rest assembly (see "Replacing the Palm-Rest Assembly"
on page 35).
6 Replace the keyboard (see "Replacing the Keyboard" on page 29).
7 Follow the instructions from step 4 to step 5 in "Replacing the Optical
Drive" on page 21.
