Replacing the touchpad

Procedure
1. Slide the touchpad into the slot on the palm rest and keyboard assembly.
2. Align the screw holes on the touchpad with the screw holes on the palm rest and keyboard assembly.
3. Replace the four screws (M2x2) that secure the touchpad to the palm rest and keyboard assembly.
4. Adhere the tape that secures the touchpad to the palm rest and keyboard assembly.
5. Adhere the touchpad cable to the touchpad.
6. Slide the end of the touchpad cable into the connector on the system board and close the latch to secure the cable.
Post-requisites
1. Replace the status-light board.
2. Replace the battery.
3. Replace the base cover.
