3 Disconnect the coin-cell battery cable and the power and volume-
buttons board cable from the I/O board.

3 latch 4 I/O board
5 coin-cell battery cable 6 power and volume-
buttons board cable
4 Remove the screws that secure the I/O board to the palm-rest assembly.
