Display Release Latch

1. Follow the instructions in "Preparing to Work Inside the Computer."
2. Remove the left, right, and center hinge covers.
3. Remove the keyboard.
4. Remove the display assembly.
5. Remove the keyboard bracket.
6. Remove the palm rest.
7. Remove the speakers.
8. Remove the two M2.5 x 6-mm screws from either side of the display release latch.
9. Pull the display release latch straight up and away from the computer base.


