32 | Removing the Speakers

Procedure

1 Using a plastic scribe, release the tabs on the right speaker.

2 Release the tabs that secure the left speaker to the palm-rest assembly.

3 Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board.

4 Remove the speaker cable from the routing guides on the palm-rest assembly.

5 Lift the speakers along with its cable off the palm-rest assembly.
