Manually Collecting Data For Cisco Ethernet Device
To collect for Cisco Ethernet manually:
1. Log in to Cisco Ethernet switch through telnet.
2. Run the following command to enter the required mode: .
– Exec — enable
– Configuration — config
3. For CEE information, run the command do show tech-support .
4. Capture the console output
NOTE: On a SAN consisting of many Cisco Ethernet switches, you may need to increase the time out value. By
default, the time out value for these switches is 3 minutes (in milliseconds). This value (
ciscoethernet.timeout
)
can be modified in the file ESC.properties located in the Lasso install directory.
Manually Collecting Data For Cisco FCoE Device
Lasso provides support to Nexus 5020 and 5548 rFCoE switch.
To collect manually:
1. Login to Cisco FCoE switch through telnet
2. Run the command config.
3. Run the following commands
– show port-channel summary
– show hostname
– show version
– show running-config

show environment
–
show module
–
show policy-map
–
show spanning-tree
–
show switchname
–
show system uptime
–
show system resources
