Installing the battery
1 Insert the battery into the slot on the computer.
2 Tighten the screws to secure the battery to the computer.
3 Connect the battery cable to the connector on the system board
4 Install the base cover.
5 Follow the procedure in After working inside your computer.

1 Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2 Remove the:

bbattery
ccoin cell battery
3 To remove the power and volume control board:
aPeel the adhesive tape [1.[
bDisconnect the power and volume control board cable from the connector on the system board [2.[
cRelease the cables from the placeholders [3.[
dRemove the screw that secures the power and volume control board to the computer [4.[
