Removing the keyboard

1 Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.

2 Remove the:

a base cover

b battery

c SSD card

d memory module

e coin cell battery

f WLAN card

g system fan

h heat sink

i I/O board

j power connector port

k display assembly

l system board

3 Disconnect the speaker cable and lift the speaker away from the computer chassis.

4 To release the keyboard:

a Remove the screws that secure the keyboard shield to the keyboard.

b Lift the keyboard shield away from the keyboard.
