LCD Panel

Removing the LCD panel

1 Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.

2 Remove the:

a base cover

b hard drive

c battery

d Removing the WLAN card

e Removing the WWAN daughterboard

f display assembly

g display hinge cover

h LCD bezel

3 Remove the adhesive tape that secures the eDP cable to the display panel [1].

4 Unroute the eDP cable from the routing channel [2].

5 Then, remove the 4 M2x2 screws [1] securing the LCD panel to the LCD back cover and ip it over to expose the eDP cable

connector [2].
